Blackberry has just confirmed in their live keynote presentation that BBM will be coming out for Android and IOS devices. It will support  iOS 6 and Android Ice Cream Sandwich or higher.  The app will be free and should be released this summer as long as Google Play and App Store approve it.  I gotta say I do miss BBM and I am excited to hear about this

This app does come with its own widget which you are able to customize from daily, weekly or monthly views with event details on the bottom of the calendar.  You can also customize the colour and size. You are also able to create a widget for your task list.

This App not only serves as a brilliant calendar, but it has a built in planner and task list.  I recommend this app for those who want an easy to set up calendar and the ability to import other calendars and have them all displayed in one location.  Jorte Calendar also offers cloud support so you can sync up your calendar , planner and tasks across multiple devices.

Okay, so I am going to hate to admit that I have played close to 100 different matches of mini golf in just 4 days.  I don’t remember the last time I was this obsessed with a game.  Mini Golf MatchUp lets you challenge your friends or strangers in a good ol’ game of mini golf.   You have the option to play online against  a random player, add a friend via the find a user option or connect to your Facebook to see which friends are already enjoying the madness.  It has mini missions to achieve as you compete online, keeping the gameplay from getting boring and giving you another goal to accomplish while you golf your little heart out.  As you complete a mission, you earn stars, which are then used to unlock different courses.  Give this game a try, you won’t regret it!  Get it free from Google Play link below.

The Android WordPress App is a must for any blogger on the go.  It provides bloggers with the ability to upload a new post, edit, view stats and more.  Today, it has received a fresh new look with the 2.3 release.  It has been updated with a new Holo UI and it comes with some added new features.  The added menu sidebar will make it easier for users to navigate through their WordPress options and it seems to be running a lot smoother.  The option to “view site” is finally here as well.  However, there seems to be an issue.  After the update the WordPress app seems to be deleted from my homescreen and app drawer.  The only way to launch the app is to go into the Playstore, search for the app and click “open.”  Other Android users are reporting the same issue, so hopefully it will all be sorted out soon.  I am currently using the Note II.

**update** if you uninstall the app and reinstall it, it will appear in your app drawer again.

The point of the game: Very similar to scrabble. You are given a rack of seven letters at a time and you compete with online players. You can add your friends by game id or log on to Facebook and play against your Facebook friends. You are also able to play against strangers. What’s great about this game is that you can continue a game whenever you have the time to come back and play the same board. You will notified when it’s your turn to play or when the game is about to expire.

Facebook has unveiled their new product today.  Facebook Home is basically a launcher that integrates all the Facebook features in your phones home screen. It will allow users to access their news feed quicker and have a more interactive chat experience. Another new feature called “Chat Heads,” which will allow users to preview messages and include an interactive picture of your friend. This feature will work with both Facebook messages and SMS. HTC is to also unveil the first smartphone to launch with Facebook Home pre-installed. Facebook Home will be available for download on select Android devices starting April 12.
